By sponsoring children in Third-World countries Plan International
works with deprived commnunities to lay the foundations for a brighter
future. Main areas of support are education, medical care and development
of sustainable micro-economic infrastructure. Sponsorship of a child
costs just £12.00 ($US20.00) per month.

The
Sandpiper Trust
A charity who's aim is to provide emergency medical kits to doctors
located in rural Scotland. In the aftermath of accidents, many
lives are lost through lack of approriate medical care in the
hour after the accident. By providing kits and training the trust
hopes to save lives throughout Scotland's glens, higlands, islands
and waters.

The
Scottish Gold Collection
Jewellery made exclusively from Scottish gold by goldsmith David
Milne. Chris Engel is a partner in this venture and as a former
geologist is responsible for the location and procurement of rare
Scottish gold for the range of jewellery.

Grampian
Transport Museum
Devoted to the the history of all forms of transport, the GTM is
one of Scotland's most popular independent visitor atractions. The
Museum comprises a collection cars, motorcycles, millitary and commercial
vehicles as well as a tarmac competition circuit that is used for
special events and motorsport competition.

C2 - Eco Marathon
Scottish Shell Eco-Marathon Team - (a competition to find the most
fuel efficient means of motorised transport). A world record was
established at the GTM Alford circuit in 2001 - over 10,000 miles
per gallon!.
